A few days ago, the University of Pennsylvania published their annual Global Go To Think Tank Index Report. More than 11,000 think tanks were compared and ranked in different categories.
Once again, we at the Austrian Economics Center are ranked as the top think tank from Austria, and as one of the biggest organizations in Europe, being placed in 21st place of “Best Independent Think Tanks” in the world.
This comes after an eventful year 2020, which was quite different than we had initially planned it. We faced new challenges, but tackled these new problems head-on, from the Coronavirus and the political response to it, how to enable more innovation and creativity through free enterprise, how Europe should look like in the future, as well as how a pro-market vision to protect the environment could look like. At the same time, we continued spreading the ideas of the Austrian School – especially Friedrich Hayek’s ideas stood in the spotlight for us this year, both in videos as well as texts. If you want to find out more about we did in 2020, then make sure to check out our annual report.
We appreciate the continued help we get from you, our supporters! Every penny helps our mission grow (which is 100% financed through private means), so we would be so grateful for any contribution to help us intensify our efforts this year.
