From March 29 to April 2 the Free Market Road Show (FMRS) payed the first of three scheduled visits to the United States of America:

Conferences were held at the University of Bloomington, at the Heartland Institute and at the University of Rockford. The overall question, which was discussed with more than two hundred participants was “Why America MUST not become Europe?”.

Via life streaming a huge number of students could observe the keynotes and debates of American and European experts, as Terry Anker (Anker Consulting), Robert Evans (Rockford University), Federico Fernandez (Austrian Economics Center), Matt Flamm (Rockford University), Hannes Gissurarson (University of Iceland), Jules Gleicher (Rockford University), Stephen Hicks (Rockford University), Barbara Kolm (Austrian Economics Center) and Karl Peter Schwarz (Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung).
