“Our Resolution for the Citizens of Europe”
The Austrian Economics Center, along with the most important Think Tanks in Europe, will sign a 5-Point-Resolution, calling the EU-Parliamentarians and EU-Bureaucracy to save. Immediately, the EU-Representatives should support efforts to strengthen free trade within Europe and with the economic powers all over the world. Since the treaty of Lisbon EU-Representatives are responsible for the ultimate decicionregarding EU-Trade Agreements.
The resolution requests, ahead of the upcoming elections to the EU-Parliament (May 22-25, 2014) all EU-Representatives to critically review whether Europe’s markets must actually be stronger controlled and regulated or not.
During the press conference, Dr. Barbara Kolm will give a summary of the results of the 10th European Resource Bank Meeting (June 7-9 in Vienna) and will discuss the “Free Market Road Show,” which has been touring since the 8th of May – through 26 different European cities and 24 European countries and which will continue until the 22nd of June in Estoril (Portugal).
