War in Ukraine – Week 20

FMRS 6 2

Day 145

July 18

145 days of mourning. In the case of this memorial – for three children killed in Vinnytsia, one of the cities supposed to be a safe haven. Then russian missiles struck.

4 year old Liza was buried while her Mom is still in intensive care. They thought that Vinnytsia was safer than Kyiv. 7 year old Maksym was killed with his Mom. 8 year old boy Kyrylo burned to death in a parked car, after he and his family fled occupied Kherson. Another 8 year old, Roman, is in a coma, fighting for his life after he saw his Mom get killed by a collapsed building.

352 Ukrainian children have been killed by the terrorist state at our border so far and hundreds more have been injured.

Day 141

July 14

Vinnytsia this morning – 22 people dead, including a 2-year-old child, more than 20 injured. Mykolayiv and many other places every day, targeting schools, hospitals, office and apartment buildings. Absolutely vile and despicable!

Day 139

July 12

They might think they are at war with fictional Nazis, the West, NATO, etc. What they don’t get, though, is how many people in Ukraine and around the world are working tirelessly to help us come out of this victorious. Like 10-year-old Valeriya, playing checkers on the streets of Kyiv in return for charitable donations to the Ukrainian Armed Forces. And just like Valeriya, who won every single game and happens to be a world champion, we will win too!
