Yesterday Russia used $400-700 million worth of missiles to attack Ukraine. One of them killed a young Ukrainian doctor who was on her way to work after dropping off her 5-year-old son at daycare. Now he is an orphan. In response, a “You have enraged Ukrainians” campaign was launched to raise funds for kamikaze drones. In a day and a half, it raised $9,6 million.

Day 231
October 13
Viatohirsk, Donetsk oblast
It smells like freshly baked bread, and people are lining up outside a local bakery. Its owner, Artem, came back after the town got freed from Russian occupation. Before russians left they burnt his house and stole a toilet from his bakery. Fortunately, the expensive equipment was left intact, and Artem can feed his community once again while rebuilding his life.
